The Eucharist is at the heart of the Church’s life. It is the foundation and confirmation of all Christian practice. The Mass is a most Sacred time when through laying of hands, invocation of the Holy Spirit and the words of the Consecration the bread and wine becomes for us the body and blood of Christ.
